Player, the largest local streaming service in Poland, is expanding its offer with more linear channels. From October 29, all users of the platform will have access to TVP1, TVP2 and TVP 3 stations, and 16 regional channels. As part of the implementation of the “must carry/must offer” principle, the public channels will be available live to all users of the platform. TVP is using its own CDN for the redistribution of the channels.

“We want Player to become the top destination for everyone who wants to watch TV on their own terms, in the digital world. A versatile platform where you can watch your favorite quality content, conveniently and free of charge, at any time and on any device,” said Maciej Gozdowski, Group Vice President – Streaming at Warner Bros. Discovery in Poland. “Thanks to this cooperation with TVP, our service will be enriched with even more diverse and popular content by viewers. In this sense, Player is the best TV entertainment you can always have with you. From the perspective of our streaming strategy, it is an offer complementary to the Max platform launched in June.”

Player recently introduced 20 FAST channels to its service, which currently offers over 50 live TV channels including TV Puls.
