Everyone TV has announced new carriage deals with Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland and CNN, significantly expanding the content available on its free IP platform, Freely. These partnerships will add seven streamed channels to the platform, further solidifying Freely's position in the UK streaming market.

CNN Headlines, a 24/7 news service delivering top global stories in news, business, and sport, has already launched on Freely on channel 305. This provides users with instant access to breaking news and up-to-the-minute information.

From early 2026, Warner Bros. Discovery's six free-to-air linear brands – Quest, Quest Red, Food Network, DMAX, Really, and TLC – will also become available to stream on Freely. This addition brings a diverse range of factual entertainment content to the platform. TLC will transition to free-to-air in January, preceding its Freely launch, with a redesigned schedule focusing on scripted comedy and entertainment.

The WBD portfolio offers Freely a selection of UK factual entertainment programs like "The Yorkshire Auction House" and "Richard Hammond’s Workshop," along with a revamped TLC offering featuring "The Big Bang Theory," the new spin-off "Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage," unscripted series, the return of "Mock the Week" and the new format "Zero Stars" with Roisin Conaty and Sara Pascoe. According to the press-release, outside of discovery+, Freely will be the only platform where users can stream these six channels together for free.

These agreements follow recent additions like Channel 4’s streamed-only channels 4Life, 4Homes, and 4Reality, five AMC Networks International services, and collaborations with Hearst Networks EMEA, Bloomberg TV+, Talking Pictures TV, Gemporia, and Local TV. Talking Pictures joined the platform on channel 36 in November, with Blaze and other services planned for the new year.

With these new deals, Freely is set to offer over 70 live streamed channels via Wi-Fi and over 75,000 hours of on-demand content. Everyone TV projects further expansion in 2026, with independent forecasts suggesting it will become the UK’s largest TV device platform within five years.

Freely, supported by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5, is available on new smart TVs from brands including Hisense, Bush, Toshiba, Panasonic, JVC, Sharp, TCL, Amazon Fire TV, and METZ. Plug-in devices have also been launched to extend the service to older television sets.
