Prime Video is gearing up to launch "Good Sports," a new weekly sports talk series starring Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson, with the premiere set for November 25th. The show, consisting of 12 episodes, will be available for streaming every Tuesday in over 240 countries and territories.
A collaboration between Hartbeat and Artists for Artists, "Good Sports" will be filmed at Culver Studios in Los Angeles, featuring a set designed by J.P. Connelly. The format combines sports analysis with comedic elements, as Hart and Thompson dissect the biggest sports stories of the week. This new venture follows their collaborative efforts during the 2024 Paris Olympics coverage on Peacock.
According to Hart, the show provides a “fresh, unfiltered” perspective on sports culture. He stated, “Kenan and I are bringing our own playbook for ‘Good Sports,’ and that’s a guaranteed win.” Thompson echoed this sentiment, saying, “’Good Sports’ is us just being ourselves — cracking jokes and probably pulling muscles we didn’t know we had.”
Each episode of the show will feature guest interviews, humorous commentary, and pre-taped segments. The topics covered will span a wide range of sports, from professional leagues like the NFL and NBA to local amateur and community sports. "Good Sports" is presented by Prime Video Sports. The executive producers are Kevin Hart, Jeff Clanagan, Luke Kelly-Clyne, Meghan Hoffman, Mike Stein, and JC Del Barco II for Hartbeat; Kenan Thompson and Johnny Ryan Jr. for Artists for Artists; along with David Nickoll and Colton Dunn. Michelle Mastellone is the producer.
