The Ryan Seacrest Foundation (RSF) has chosen DigitalGlue's Creative.space shared storage solution to manage its expanding content library. This platform supports the foundation's 14 Seacrest Studios located in children's hospitals across the US, providing remote access and efficient organization.

Seacrest Studios offer broadcasting and entertainment activities for young patients. The recent addition of a studio at Cohen Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) highlights the foundation's ongoing expansion. These studios feature broadcast-quality equipment, enabling children to participate in celebrity interviews and learn production skills.

Hospitals utilize closed-circuit TV to distribute programming to patient rooms and satellite campuses, providing vital diversions. “The goal of the studios is twofold. One, they aid in the healing process for patients, and their families as well. And two, they serve as havens where patients and their families can escape. We refer to them as ‘no poke’ zones, but they are really places where patients can explore with their imaginations, learn how to use the equipment, host their own shows, be part of celebrity interviews, just have fun and get to be a kid when hospital life doesn’t allow them to feel that way,” explains Nicole Mead, SVP, operations, RSF.

Previously using Dropbox, RSF transitioned to Creative.space to address the challenges of managing its growing content library. Katie Klochany, Creative Manager, RSF, explains that Creative.space “provides a place where I can organize all our content. The platform houses all required assets in one space that is accessible to Seacrest Studios teams for programming, and Ryan’s team when projects require collaboration.”

Klochany highlights the platform's efficiency: “The most valuable feature is just getting files quickly and easily to our team in a streamlined process so they’re always current, and they have access to timely content they can schedule to air on their channel. It’s convenient and a huge time-saver for us.” Future plans include utilizing Creative.space's tagging capabilities for enhanced searchability and its automated export features for efficient content delivery.

Klochany praised the smooth content transfer and exceptional support provided by DigitalGlue. Mead added, “Being on the operational side of the foundation I have found the investment from the leadership of DigitalGlue incredible. They always say that we’re going to partner on this together and make us comfortable with moving forward. Having tech partners that are so willing to provide continuing education and support and not nickel and dime us is a big deal.”
