Sweden has entered a new era in television viewing. The country's digital terrestrial platform no longer offers pay-TV services. This significant change follows the termination of an agreement between Tele2 AB and Teracom AB, ending terrestrial broadcasts of several channels.

The cessation of broadcasting occurred on January 2nd, impacting Boxer's pay-TV channels. At its height in 2012, Boxer boasted 1.2 million subscribers. However, following its acquisition by Tele2, a strategic shift was made to migrate customers to the internet-based platform. This transition involved the deployment of the Tele2 TV-Hub Mini device, powered by the Shenzhen SEI Robotics TV SEI700 TE.

It's important to note that this change only affects pay-TV channels broadcast through the terrestrial network. Free-to-air channels such as SVT's four channels, TV4, and TV Finland remain unaffected and continue to be available via the terrestrial platform.
