Starting January 2017, six TV channels — STB, Novy Kanal, ICTV, M1, M2, QTV — will be broadcasted from the AMOS-3 satellite operated by Space-Communication Ltd. (Israel). Previously, the channels of the StarLightMedia group were broadcasted from the AMOS-2 satellite. This was announced by the group's press service.

Technical parameters for receiving the channel signal:

— Satellite — AMOS-3;

— Orbital position — 4 ° West .;

— Reception frequency — 11175;

— Symbol rate — 30000 K symbols / Sec .;

— Forward Error Correction (FEC) — 3/4;

— Polarization — horizontal;

— Program distribution area — Ukraine and other countries within the zone of confident signal reception from the satellite.

In December 2016, parallel broadcasting was conducted on both satellites.

The transition was made because the AMOS-2 satellite is nearing the end of its technical lifespan. In autumn 2016, a transition to another satellite of Space-Communication Ltd. — AMOS-6 — was planned, but the Falcon-9 rocket, which was to launch it into orbit, exploded. As a result of negotiations with the satellite owner, it was decided to switch to AMOS-3.

For user convenience, the website telemaster.com.ua has been created with text and video instructions on how to reconfigure tuners of different brands for receiving channels on the new satellite, as well as a database of satellite TV technicians in various settlements, who can be contacted if necessary.
