«ВОТ ТВ» is a Russian public-political information television channel that broadcasts around the clock. It was created by the media holding «Blue Pages» in St. Petersburg. All programs are broadcast only live.
The channel was founded by television producer Alexei Lushnikov. The first broadcast took place on October 1, 2007. The channel was broadcast in St. Petersburg from 2007 to 2009. Every week «ВОТ!» produced over 60 different programs. Over two years, over 5,000 guests appeared on its air - well-known politicians, public figures, officials, scientists, athletes, cultural figures. The editorial activity of the channel was awarded numerous awards from the authorities of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
One of the main features of «ВОТ!» was its interactivity. Participants in the vast majority of programs, in addition to presenters and guests in the studio, were viewers. They had the opportunity to call live, ask questions, express their opinion via SMS and various polls. Every week, «ВОТ!» phones received over 5,000 calls and SMS messages from viewers. The channel reopened on April 15, 2011.
