Thema has renewed its partnership with Okast for the distribution of its African content through the OTT service My Bouquet Africain. Taking its name from the French channel, Le Bouquet Africain, the service is tailored for the French-speaking Sub-Saharan African audience in Europe. The service currently features eight TV channels from Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, and Congo (Brazzaville), along with five African entertainment channels: Nollywood TV, Nollywood TV Epic, A+, Trace Africa, and Trace Gospel.
My Bouquet Africain also offers a catalogue of over 100 films and series, ranging from Canal+ Afrique Original productions to Nollywood and Senegalese dramas. In 2022, Thema partnered with Okast to launch a modern, multiscreen OTT platform.
“Thema is delighted with this collaboration with Okast, which has proven to be a reliable and diligent partner in delivering the highest quality of service to our customers. The successful launch and ongoing growth of the service align perfectly with Thema’s strategic focus on the digital field and will undoubtedly pave the way for new opportunities,” said Timothée Vidal, SVP Multicultural Distribution and Digital of Thema. “We are thrilled that Okast OTT has impressed such a prestigious company as Thema and are pleased to see My Bouquet Africain thriving,” adds Cédric Monnier, CEO, Co-founder Okast. “This success demonstrates that a modern cloud-based solution enables the rapid deployment of a state-of-the-art OTT service with proven scalability and cost efficiency.”
The platform features a scalable streaming architecture, enhanced design and user experience, various monetisation and activation options, comprehensive content and rights management, as well as web and mobile applications.
