Arkona technologies GmbH is dedicated to providing streamlined IP core infrastructure solutions for broadcast productions. At NAB Show 2025, they are presenting substantial upgrades to their Blade Runner product suite. This includes enhancements to the acclaimed Easy-IP solution and the debut of the innovative JXS16 App, boasting the highest density of UHD JPEG-XS codecs on the market.

Building on the success of the Easy-IP platform, first unveiled at IBC, Arkona has introduced new hard panel control surfaces. These panels offer users direct control over routing and processing and are integrated with any Easy-IP solution. The Easy-IP platform is designed as a straightforward yet adaptable replacement for broadcasters looking to modernize or expand their SDI infrastructure.

Initially launched at NAB 2024 and a Best-of-Show winner, Arkona’s IP Audio (IPA) app, a dedicated audio mixer for Blade Runner, now seamlessly integrates with MakeProX, Behringer, and other control surfaces using the HUI MIDI communications protocol. This allows for intuitive hardware control of DSP and mixing functions, streamlining workflows.

The new JXS16 app for the Blade Runner AT300 platform significantly expands on its predecessor by doubling the codec capacity. JXS16 provides 16 channels of JPEG-XS encoding or decoding in various configurations, including 16x Encode, 16x Decode, or 8x Encode + 8x Decode. Support covers UHD, 3G, and HD, with a maximum of 16 UHD channels per AT300. As the market's highest-density JPEG-XS UHD codec solution, the app can scale to 128 x UHD channels within just 3RU.

“Our goal at Arkona is to simplify the transition from traditional SDI infrastructures to future proof IP solutions,” said Erling Hedkvist, sales and business development for Arkona technologies. “These newly added offerings to our Easy-IP packages promise to make this transition seamless, cost effective and future proof and we are excited to showcase this at NAB this year.”
