Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC), a Nikon company, will be at NAB Show 2025, showcasing advancements in robotic camera technology and virtual production integration. The event, taking place in Las Vegas from April 6-9, will see MRMC with a significant presence at booth N2038. They will exhibit alongside Nikon and RED, demonstrating cutting-edge film and broadcast robotics.

A key highlight will be the RPS (Roaming Pedestal System), a next-generation free-roaming camera platform for high-end broadcast studios. Unlike traditional track-based systems, the RPS offers smooth motion, enabling dynamic camera angles. Multiple units can operate safely with built-in collision avoidance. It's configurable with a lift column (RPS-C2) or an articulated arm (RPS-LT) and features FreeD positional output for virtual environment integration. The RPS also creates a cleaner studio space.

MRMC will showcase seamless robotics integration into virtual production workflows. A dedicated area will feature live demonstrations of the synergy between studio robotics and virtual production, showing how MRMC’s robotic systems integrate with virtual graphics technology for precise mapping and synchronized camera angles. This will also include engaging panel discussions.

Demonstrations will include the Studiobot XL, RPS with PTA-2, AFC, and RLS with an ARC UHD camera. MRMC’s team will collaborate with Steve Giralt to demonstrate the Cinebot Max and virtual production's impact on product commercials, showcasing a mini studio for high-impact, slow-motion food cinematography. The Cinebot Max, powered by Flair software, supports up to 20kg (44 lbs), reaches 3.2m (9.8 ft), and extends to 1.75m (5.7 ft).

Hands-on experiences will be available with the Slidekamera, Nikon SR-1, Orion Slider, and Cinebot Mini. Many MRMC products will be demonstrated with RED Digital Cinema cameras (V-Raptor [X] and Komodo-X). Form Volumes will be the virtual technology integration partner, showcasing their all-in-one studio solution.

“We’re excited to showcase our latest technological advancements, and this year, we’re offering attendees an even more engaging and hands-on experience,” said Assaff Rawner, CEO of MRMC. “By demonstrating how our cutting-edge solutions are redefining the possibilities in broadcast and cinematography, we remain committed to equipping creators with the tools to bring their boldest ideas to life.”
