Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC), a Nikon company, will be at NAB Show 2025, showcasing advancements in robotic camera technology and virtual production. The event, held in Las Vegas from April 6-9, will see MRMC at booth N2038, alongside Nikon and RED.

MRMC will highlight solutions designed to improve efficiency and creativity in live production, filmmaking, and virtual production. A key focus will be the RPS (Roaming Pedestal System), a free-roaming camera platform for high-end broadcast studios. Unlike traditional systems, the RPS offers smooth motion and dynamic camera angles. Multiple units can operate safely with built-in collision avoidance. It's configurable with a lift column (RPS-C2) or articulated arm (RPS-LT) and integrates with virtual environments via FreeD positional output. The RPS eliminates floor tracks, creating a cleaner, safer studio space.

A dedicated area will showcase the integration of robotics into virtual production workflows, featuring live demonstrations. Attendees will see how MRMC’s robotic systems integrate with virtual graphics technology, enabling precise mapping and synchronized camera angles. Panel discussions will offer insights into the technologies and workflows.

Demonstrations will include the Studiobot XL, RPS with PTA-2, AFC, and RLS with an ARC UHD camera. MRMC will collaborate with Steve Giralt to showcase the Cinebot Max and virtual production in a mini studio designed for high-impact, slow-motion food cinematography. This will feature the Cinebot Max on Track, powered by Flair software.

Hands-on experience will be available with the Slidekamera, Nikon SR-1, Orion Slider, and Cinebot Mini. Many MRMC products will be demonstrated with RED Digital Cinema camera technology, such as V-Raptor [X] and Komodo-X. Form Volumes will be the virtual technology integration partner, showcasing their all-in-one studio solution.

“We’re excited to showcase our latest technological advancements, and this year, we’re offering attendees an even more engaging and hands-on experience,” said Assaff Rawner, CEO of MRMC. “By demonstrating how our cutting-edge solutions are redefining the possibilities in broadcast and cinematography, we remain committed to equipping creators with the tools to bring their boldest ideas to life.”
