Disney Entertainment has announced a seventh season for the syndicated talk show, “Tamron Hall.” Currently in its sixth season, the show, hosted by Tamron Hall, will continue production at least into early 2026, with potential for further extension.

The show airs on ABC-owned stations and boasts significant commitments with Hearst Television across 23 markets. Its consistent strong performance on linear television, regularly ranking among the top three syndicated talk shows, is a key factor in its renewal. “Tamron” cleverly leverages its content across digital platforms, a cost-effective strategy that reuses existing material and generates additional ad revenue from platforms like YouTube.

Hall expressed gratitude to her viewers, affectionately known as the “Tam Fam,” in her announcement. “Tamron” is produced in New York City, sharing studio space with “The View” in Disney’s new 7 Hudson Square building.

Before her talk show, Hall co-anchored “Today” on NBC, notably contributing to “Today’s Take.” She also hosted “NewsNation with Tamron Hall” on MSNBC for seven years. In 2017, NBC selected Megyn Kelly for a new talk show, leading to Hall’s departure after her contract expired. This decision drew criticism for replacing a Black host with a white woman. Following two years of development, her self-titled show premiered in September 2016.

NBC’s attempt to expand the “Today” brand into a traditional talk show format with Megyn Kelly ultimately proved unsuccessful, culminating in the cancellation of “Megyn Kelly Today” after offensive comments made by Kelly. Kelly later launched her own digital show.
