At this year’s IBC exhibition in Amsterdam, German broadcast technology provider VIDI will demonstrate the integration of Appear’s X10 and X20 chassis within its Network Management System (VIDI NMS). This integration will be showcased in a multi-vendor environment, allowing for end-to-end monitoring and control through the VIDI NMS.
Visitors to both the VIDI booth (2.C35) and the Appear booth (1.C61) will have the opportunity to witness firsthand how the system efficiently manages Appear devices using its built-in drivers. The demonstration effectively illustrates VIDI NMS’s ability to configure and monitor video streams across complex, diverse, and geographically dispersed infrastructures using a single, unified interface.
The inclusion of Appear hardware to VIDI's supported vendor list underscores VIDI’s unwavering commitment to interoperability and vendor-neutral network management, allowing for greater flexibility and efficiency in broadcast operations.
