In the UK, The Day of the Jackal achieved a landmark status, becoming the biggest Sky Original ever and its biggest launch in over two years. The series drew a record audience of 3 million viewers in its first week.
The show follows the story of an elusive assassin, the Jackal (Eddie Redmayne), and his pursuit by a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch). The cat-and-mouse chase unfolds across Europe. The initial six episodes launched simultaneously in the UK on November 7th, with the remaining four episodes released weekly.
